Value stream mapping is a lean method that shows how value is created throughout a system. Each sub system contains many teams, disciplines and resources in an interrelated way.
The resources related to these relations, the relations of the teams to each other can also directly or indirectly affect our processes that are already functioning in our system or will start.
In order to see the interrelations of our teams and related resources within the system and the impact of the processes already carried out, one needs to take a large picture as all disciplines. VSM allows us to see the big picture it shows both our resources and the time-dependent flow .
