DevOps culture highly emphasize the importance of "Continuous Improvement" which cannot be achieved only by classical monitoring, but also excepts from "Dev" and "Ops" teams, always to put effort on seeking areas for improvement. This comes from the KaiZen culture, which always assumes that there is always space for improvement.
In order to create a "Continuous Improvement" loop, beside the following approaches:

- Business expectations
by keeping an "Impediment Board" which helps to visualize and track the improvement areas.
