Our teams are growing rapidly, and we’re hiring an Accounting and Finance Assistant Specialist to join our Finance Department. Working closely with our Finance Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial health of our organization.

Position: Accounting and Finance Assistant Specialist

Location: Hybrid - Turkey

Level: Expert II/Expert III

As an Accounting and Finance Assistant Specialist, you will:

  • Assist with general accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely recording of income, expenditures, assets, and liabilities in the accounting system.
  • Support the preparation and verification of sales invoices, ensuring they are aligned with customer contracts and orders.
  • Help track and organize incoming and outgoing documents, ensuring accurate accounting records are created.
  • Assist in monitoring and recording purchase invoices, ensuring proper entries in the system.
  • Support the regular tracking and reconciliation of bank transactions, ensuring accurate accounting records.
  • Help with accounts reconciliation (customer, supplier accounts), ensuring all transactions are correct and up to date.
  • Assist with the daily and monthly tracking of company credit card expenses, entering the data into the accounting system.
  • Prepare and assist with bank instructions under supervision.
  • Contribute to the preparation of weekly personnel expense lists and weekly supplier payment schedules.
  • Help manage the archiving and tracking of monthly sales and purchase invoices.
  • Provide support for financial reporting and declaration processes as needed.
  • Respond to queries from departments and customers, ensuring all responses are in line with company policies.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, be solution-focused, and effectively manage multiple tasks with a results-oriented mindset.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Minimum one year experience in accounting or finance.
  • Basic understanding of general accounting practices, chart of accounts, and tax legislation.
  • Familiar with accounts tracking and reconciliation processes.
  • Some experience with sales and purchase invoicing, or an eagerness to learn.
  • Knowledge of bank transactions and credit card expense tracking.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting software (Luca, Paraşüt, or similar is a plus).
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a results-oriented approach.
  • No military obligation for male candidates.
  • Resident of or able to reside in İstanbul.
