17 July 2026. Kloia, a modern systems integrator for software engineering, and vFunction, an AI-powered platform for application modernization, today announced a strategic partnership to help organizations upgrade complex Java and .NET applications faster and with lower risk.
For a long time, modernizing large legacy applications has been one of the most time-consuming and risky endeavors in enterprise software. Monolithic Java and .NET systems develop architectural complexity over years and can take many months to rebuild by hand, or fail outright. The partnership brings together two complementary strengths to shorten that path.
Under the agreement, vFunction supplies the platform layer: AI-driven analysis that captures how applications actually behave, determines domain boundaries and dependencies, and generates the architectural context needed to turn monoliths into modular, cloud-ready microservices. Kloia provides the delivery layer: experienced engineers who embed with client teams to execute the modernization, introduce modern practices, and impart the skills needed to sustain them.
